Introduction

Please read the terms, conditions and policies carefully before accessing or using our website jobsource.co.nz. By accessing or using this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Job Source may amend or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will be effective immediately once posted on the website.


Services Provided

Job Source is an independent online meeting place for job seekers and employers where users can register, create job listings and profiles, and search for jobs and resumes. Job Source is not an employment agency for the employer or advertiser. Job Source reserves the right to block or remove any advertising package, job listing, or user that does not comply with our terms and conditions.


Use of the site

All content on jobsource.co.nz is for personal use only and may not be copied, reproduced, redistributed, sold or used for commercial purposes. You are permitted to download material from this website for your own personal use only. All material, code and software on jobsource.co.nz must not be modified, copied, or redistributed.  You must not use this website for any unlawful or prohibited activities.


Listing a job

Listings must adhere to principles of common decency. Listings should not contain anything offensive or sexually explicit in both image or written material. Adult listings are not permitted, and will be removed without a refund. Jobsource.co.nz must only be used to advertise jobs that are legally compliant and adhere to, but is not limited to, Fair Trading Act 1986, Privacy Act 1993, Real Estate Agents Act 2008, Human Rights Act 1993. Listings must be free of viruses or any other program that can damage jobsource.co.nz; it’s system and data, as well as the user’s system and/ or data.

 

Listings must provide truthful information and must be placed in the most relevant categories to the job. Jobsource.co.nz reserves the right to amend a listing, move a listing to an appropriate category, or remove listings that do not meet our terms and conditions. Jobsource.co.nz does not hold responsibility for any untruthful and/or inaccurate information included in job listings. By listing on Jobsource.co.nz you agree to allow the job or parts of the job description to be posted and/or promoted elsewhere online.

 

Listings will remain on the site for 30 days, although you can choose to withdraw or extend the advert at any time. A new fee will apply to listing extensions or renewals of expired listings. If the listing is withdrawn early, you will not be reimbursed for the partial period.

 

Job seeker profile / resume

Profiles must adhere to principles of common decency. Profiles should not contain anything offensive or sexually explicit in both image or written material. Personal information (as defined in the Privacy Act 1993) accessed or contained in the job seeker profile must only be used by the advertiser in activities related to employment.

Misuse of job seeker information includes but is not limited to; selling services or products, sharing personal information obtained from a user’s profile with another user, business or any other party, on-selling the information contained in a user’s profile.

Jobsource.co.nz does not hold responsibility for any untruthful and/or inaccurate information included in the job seeker profile.


Copyright and Trademarks

The copyright in the material and trademarks that directly relate to jobsource.co.nz are under ownership by Job Source Limited, and unless otherwise indicated, these rights owned by Job Source Limited should not be infringed.

We do not guarantee the accuracy or truthfulness of material posted; the user of the site accepts that they are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and truthfulness of the advertisement or job application. Jobsource.co.nz is not involved in the employment process and therefore all users of the site accept that Job Source Limited cannot be liable for any hiring or employment decisions made.

Jobsource.co.nz does not scan uploaded material or advertisements for viruses. It is the users responsibility, both advertiser and job seeker, to ensure they have relevant software to protect against viruses and other malware. Job Source will not be responsible for any loss or damage the user may encounter from using the website.

 

Privacy Policy

As a user of jobsource.co.nz, you take full responsibility for ensuring the security of your login and password information.

 Job Seeker personal data will be available to Employers/Advertisers visiting Jobsource.co.nz. Jobsource.co.nz will not disclose user personal data to any third party. Personal data includes, but not limited to, a Name which is compulsory, an email Address which is compulsory and a Telephone Number which is optional.

Personal data provided by the user may be used by Job Source to notify the user of any news, and or promotional offers relating only to the jobsource.co.nz website. The user can unsubscribe from these notifications at any time.

Jobsource.co.nz will take all steps to secure the privacy of your information. However, there are no guarantees to the security of information. Jobsource.co.nz disclaims all liability if information on the website database is illegally obtained.

 

Payment

Payment must be made in advance by purchasing a single listing or job pack (multiple listings).  Purchased listings must be used within 6 months of the purchase date. Payments using American Express or Diners Club credit cards incur an extra charge of 3.02% (including GST) for American Express, or 2.46% (including GST) for Diners Club, of the full payment amount. The rates are the same that Job Source is charged by American Express and Diners Club.

 

Ownership of information

Jobsource.co.nz does not claim ownership to the content/material/information/data uploaded to the website however we reserve the right to use any content/material/information/data in order to provide the services being offered as a job search website. In uploading content/material/data to Jobsource.co.nz the advertiser hereby grants Job Source unrestricted, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully-paid and royalty-free, license to use any material for the following purposes:

  • Manage internal reporting requirements;
  • Collate statistical information about use of the Site and submission of online applications;
  • Analyse user behaviour on the Site;
  • Obtain and analyse high level trends and prepare reports relating thereto; and
  • Generally improve the candidate user experience.
  • Distribute material in any media avenue including social media such as Facebook

COMPETITIONS Terms & Conditions

By entering the competition each applicant agrees to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Competition T & C’s apply to all competitions, online or in person, as well as any giveaways.
  2. Entries will be deemed void if information is missing or has been altered in any way. Entries must be received in person or electronically by Job Source by the closing date to be valid.
  3. Only one entry per person, unless stated otherwise. If multiple applications are made via the same or different communication channels then all entries by that applicant will be void.
  4. Entry is only open to New Zealand residents and prizes cannot be transferred to another person.
  5. By entering any Job Source promotion or competition, the applicants agree to allow Job Source and any contracted third party, to contact the applicant with future promotions, Job Source newsletters and regular updates. The applicant can unsubscribe from these at the bottom of the email or by contacting us directly.
  6. The prize winner agrees to allow their name, photo, and interview to be used in promotional material for Job Source.
  7. Prizes are not transferrable or exchangeable for cash unless agreed in writing by Job Source.
  8. Job Source will not be liable for lost prizes or stolen tickets. If electronic or paper entry ticket(s) are provided then it’s the prize winner’s responsibility to print the ticket and bring it to the event. If the prize winner’s name is added to the venue door list then the prize winner is responsible to bring correct proof of ID.
  9. The prize winner must claim their prize within 3 days, otherwise the prize will be re-drawn with no right to compensation
  10. If transport, accommodation, or flights are offered, then these offerings will be at the time & day set by jobsource.co.nz. Job Source takes no responsibility for late or missed transport, accommodation, or flights.
  11. Job Source shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused directly or indirectly, at an event, or by a prize.
  12. Job Source staff & contractors are void from entering all competitions and giveaways.
  13. For job competition adverts listed on Jobsource.co.nz and elsewhere in print or electronically, the prize described is the final and full remuneration to the prize winner, and therefore no official job role or employment contract is offered, provided, or intended.
  14. For venues & tickets:
    1. Unless otherwise stated in the competition, the standard prize quantity is for one paid ticket to the event.
    2. Accommodation & transport to and from the event is the prize winner’s responsibility. Parking at the event is the prize winner’s responsibility.
    3. No refund is available should the event be cancelled or postponed for reasons outside the control of Job Source.
  15. Under the Privacy Act 1993, all applicants have the right to access and correct their personal information by contacting info@jobsource.co.nz or in writing to our address shown on the website
